Getting There: Journaling / Journeying with Scripture
As God works in us to make us like his Son, he uses all sorts of methods and instruments to get us there. Probably the most effective is his word, by which we can know all his plans and purposes that culminate in transformation into Christ likeness. Journaling with scripture is a powerful tool to engage and interact with God and to track the progress of his transforming work of making us like Jesus.
In part one in this two-part workshop, Jean shares how God works over time through the practice of journaling with scripture to become more deeply aware of his love for us where and how we are in this moment or chapter of our lives. In the second session, attendees will be invited to practice journaling with scripture as Jean provides prompts and illustrations.
