As Anglicans, we acknowledge the shadowlands, the “already, but not yet” dynamic of God’s redemptive intent “for all people” (Luke 2:10). There are moments (see 2020 entire) when it is important to corporately acknowledge the interplay of “loss” and “light” that we have experienced as disciples of Jesus. Come to this service prepared to name the areas of your life that feel particularly diminished after a challenging year. Come to this service ready to recall again the many ways God has faithfully ministered to our hearts and minds.
