Visiting Advent

We’re looking forward to meeting you!

We'd love for you to join us on a Sunday. The full liturgy, music, and directives are printed in our bulletins, making it easy to join in.

Every Sunday at 11 a.m. we meet at Woodinville Community Church in Woodinville, WA.

Children at Advent

Advent is fortunate to have a broad range of ages represented in a parish of about 250 people on a Sunday.

Children make up a large part of our parish, and are an integral part of it. We have 5 children's classrooms open during Sunday services: Nursery (0-1 Years), Toddlers (2-3 Years), Preschool (4-5 Years), Primary (K-2nd Grade), and Intermediate (3rd-5th Grade).

Kids are checked-in to classrooms before service begins and will be picked up from their classrooms by their families shortly before we partake of Communion.

Students in 6th-12th grade are invited to join student meetings. This group currently gathers after worship for lunch, connection, and guided conversation, in addition to frequent outings for fun.

All volunteers working with children and students are thoroughly background checked, vetted, and trained to ensure we provide safe and enriching environments for the kids in our parish.

About Communion

Our communion bread is free of most major allergens (and yet tastes great!). We serve both wine and grape juice to serve people’s preferences. All who are trusting in Jesus for their salvation and have been baptized are invited to receive communion, including children.

Still have questions?

That may be all the information you need in order to plan a visit, but if you're still curious we invite you to explore Advent via the top menu, or listen to one of our sermons.

And if you have more prosaic questions (about parking or when we dismiss, for example) or just want to make a personal connection, by all means feel free to contact Fr. Aaron Burt by clicking here. He'll be glad to hear from you.
