The Canterbury House Presents: Bodywork, Soul-work: Becoming Whole Persons in Christ

  • Advent Anglican 17110 140th Avenue Northeast Woodinville, WA, 98072 United States (map)

What does it mean to become "whole persons" in Christ? If we are the "imago dei" (made in the "image of God"), and if "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" and we are now redeemed human beings, "God's workmanship ["poiema"/poem], created in Christ Jesus for good works," and being "transformed into the image" of Christ, then does it matter how we live in our bodies? How does this relate to mental and emotional health as well as our life in the Spirit? How do we start to form a "theology of the body"?
