You will be guided through all of the steps of transforming a plain egg into a symbolic work of art using the age-old Ukrainian method of writing Pysanky. We will apply a series of melted beeswax and dyes to create traditional patterns on the egg, then melt off the wax to reveal the vivid colors.The process is relatively simple, yet it definitely takes focus and time, so plan to spend the full morning with us to create a uniquely beautiful heirloom Easter egg at this 3 hour Lenten workshop, led by Jenny Shute.
